Artist's Comments

sometimes its a funny feeling uploading a photo...
you are opening the folder looking at the photo, and you
think...... will people on da like it or not, how many faves will you get for it and so on... its a funny thing because in reallity the best what you can get here is some good feedback and not only favs without comments...
and then you ask yourself, is the best photo, the mostfaved one?
you are opening uploadet photo and looking how many faves it already get... then on the comments.....

it would be interersting to know how many popular deviations here on da have more comments than favs....

P.S: thanks to :iconniko-likes: for his d700 on this evening : )

and i agree with you, favs make you feel good, but comments help you improve.

I wonder the same thing alot. It rots to get favorites but no comments.

I like the color tone this has. It feels cold and unwanted. And that's a really nifty piece of art on that wall.

much less than great art without any attention on it ;)

that's really true, good point.
like, if someone uploads a photo and it gets 1,000 faves in a week if it's very popular and all the comments are "nice"or "Great photo!" that might have been luck by the photographer and now they have nothing more to submit that shows talent.
i myself would rather have comments and critiques
:)

Yes, there is an interesting sort of dialog in this photo between the space depicted and the image within the space. The light fixture seems to give a strange level of detail to what all of those people can't see. I amplifies their blindness and anonymity.

I really think that you should consider giving the work a less needy title listing. It's great to get comments, but don't insist on such things in the title.

i always think the same things when i upload photos. ive also noticed that a lot that i didnt really like too much myself seemed to be the ones that was most viewed or most faved in my gallery. and then the ones that i like are hardly looked at. its interesting to think about... wonderful piece by the way =D
