I've always heard people say that exact symmetry is supposed to be beautiful and attractive. But I find it a little alien-like. :O

Anyway, it's a lovely photo. The eyes really grab you. :)

mirrored faces always look so unreal. it's more easy to pick than even a really good painting/drawing of a face, which at times, can seem perfect.

they say when the faces of even the most popular celebrities are mirrored, depending on the angle, or even sometimes just in the principle of the effect, it makes them unrecognizeable.

interesting take. she looks beautiful and i saw some of the non-mirror photos but, this effect makes her look jagged and ugly and unreal... fitting for such a perversion of how you regularly see humans-- imperfect.

Yeah, lots of people think that if a face is symmetrical then it's beautiful. But if you ever see a symmetrical face (which wouldn't really happen in real life... never EXACT symmetry) then you'll probably find it's actually somewhat disturbing. Something seems wrong about it but you can't quite put your finger on it. Well, it's how I see it in any case!
Asymmertical faces are much more interesting and beautiful to look at in my opinion.

I think the eyes are quite a noticeable oddity.

Cock-eyed you get used to, but both slightly looking out at the same angle seems...odd :)
