Seeing this shot from a thumb instantly grabs you. The amazing contrast in colors is the first thing you notice. The way the buildings are shot are well organized. Almost all equal in height, which puts a lot of detail for the eye to take in. The taller building is well placed to bring you out of the scatter of the city back to the focal point of the picture.

The sun almost looks like its setting fire to the town and ripping the clouds apart. A nice timing and makes the overall picture equal to the lower half with the scatter of the cloud.

The only thing that I would have changed my self is the grain of the picture. In my eyes it seems like it would add more if the shot was more crisp. Maybe your intent was to add a softer transition in the contrast? As I'm still new to photography I don't feel I have much room to put judgment on that.
