I love this photo so much. I think the black and white version is amazing. When I first saw this photo, it literally made me jump a bit with surprise. The pure surrealism in this shot makes it extraordinary and quite clever. I love that you chose a smaller fish, because it makes her eyes even smaller then they could have been instead of using let's say a bass. I love the offset of the different patterns, like the fish scales, and her polka-dotted shirt. The expression she is making with her mouth and the position of her nose are just so cute and comical at the same time. I can't help but give this photograph 5 stars in all categories, because I just love it that much and it brings a smile to my face every time. A job well done!

i like the way there seems to be two pictures in one. one of the two fish so close they seem to be having quite a moment. had that been all the picture was, it would have been quite common and not at all original. but this work is a wonderful manipulation of the ordinary and the purest example of 'extraordinary out of the ordinary'
What really caught my eye was the way they seem to be at the perfect distance to maing a smiley :) had it been any closer to the model's face she would have had a hard time breathing and the perfection of the picture would have been spoiled.
Another thing that popped right at me was the way the black and white way of manipulating a picture had turned this picture extraordinary. The beautiful contrast of the fish scales lead the watchers eyes straight to the smiley formed and the black and whiteness also gave a good image of depth.
all in all a very good image with a good sense of humor [no pun intended] and good techniques used.
GOOD JOB!!!!

Very well executed, balanced. Nice to see folks working in magic realism.
